Hi everyone. That Girl Racing is off and running. Our first race of the season was last
weekend. The location.... Valdosta, Georgia  believe it or not. Each March, the NHRA
holds a test/race week at South Georgia Motorsports Park the week before the
Gatornationals in Florida. All the best Top Fuel, Pro-Stock, Pro-Mod, Funny Car and
Pro-Stock Bike teams come to SGMP to test their cars before the big race. It is a closed
session except for Saturday night when it open to the public for a "Chicago" style
shoot-out.
This year, TGR and a few other snowmobile race teams got the invite to SGMP to show the
Deep South what a sled looks like going down the quarter mile at close to 150MPH.
I am sure the locals are still talking about it.
The week of testing in beautiful 80 degree weather was worth it. We ran the sled at 8.55 seconds at 147 MPH in the quarter mile.
